Ambassador Katey Townsend works for Lincoln County as an advocate for homeless
children in the public school system. She trains others statewide in awareness
and skills to address this ongoing situation in communities across Oregon. She
has a passion to help the less fortunate namely, homeless children and their
families in her community. In January 2016 the Youth Add Value™ Initiative in
conjunction with IChange Nations™ organized and launched the first event of its
kind in Newport Oregon “Youth Give Back.” Mrs. Townsend was one of several
presented with the IChange Nations™ Community Ambassador Award. It was with
great pleasure that IChange Nation’s™, Founder and President, Amb. Clyde Rivers
in conjunction with Youth Add Value™ Initiative was able to present this well
deserved Community Ambassador Award to Katey Townsend.
Ambassador
Rivers is very happy to partner with Youth Add Value™ to honor these community
recipients at this event. The Community Ambassador Award was created for the
very purpose of honoring individual helping in their communities. Rivers said,
“Katey Townsend is a prime example of a Community Ambassador. She cares for her
community but not only her community but also communities around her state.
Katey welcome to the IChange Nations™ Community Ambassador family.”
