LORETTA HOAGLAND RECEIVES THE ICHANGE NATIONS™ COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR AWARD

Amb. Clyde Rivers with Amb Loretta Hoagland and Amb. Michal Pitzl
In January 2016 the Youth Add Value™ Initiative in conjunction with IChange Nations™ organized and launched the first event of its kind in Newport Oregon “Youth Give Back.” Loretta Hoagland was one of several presented with the IChange Nations™ Community Ambassador Award. It was with great pleasure that IChange Nation’s™, Founder and President, Amb. Clyde Rivers in conjunction with Youth Add Value™ Initiative was able to present this well deserved Award to Loretta Hoagland.

Mrs. Hoagland shared with us this account of her community activities. “When living in Depoe Bay (population less than 1,500 people) I saw the young getting into the illegal drug culture.  Meth was the drug of choice. I saw young beautiful kids buying drugs when they got home from school until their parents got home from work.   I pictured what these kids would look like in ten years.  Fury drove me to start a program to get the kids away from the drug culture. I started an after school program and was overwhelmed by the acceptance of the program and the help of the community to make it successful. I was told recently that the publicity has driven most drug dealers away.” This is only a portion of what this new Community Ambassador has been involved in. She truly values life and has lived her life to help mankind.

The Community Ambassador Award was created for the very purpose of honoring individuals such as Mrs. Hoagland helping in their communities. Rivers said, “We are so honored to have Loretta Hoagland as one of our Community Ambassador. Her life’s work represents what we intended to honor in a Community Ambassador.  We welcome her to our family of Community Ambassadors around the world.”
