The
Challenged Champions and Heroes (CC&H) is an IChange Nations™ initiative
started by Dr. Robin Lococo and Dr. Penny Heflebower. They have a heart to
reframe mindsets regarding individuals with disabilities. CC&H are looking
at the challenges so many people deal with and desire to award these
individuals for being over comers. Their movement has a two-prong approach;
first to find and honor challenged individuals and secondly, to find and honor
individuals and organizations that work with and support the efforts of
challenged individuals.
On
April 23rd, 2016 on Capitol Hill, Challenged Champions and Heroes
launched their initiative and were able to award several individuals that are
helping challenged people in their sphere of influence. Dr. Ruth Mizell was one
of the recipients. At over 90 years of age Dr. Ruth has touch many lives. She
is a great example and worthy of this honor she was awarded.

part of our IChange Nations™ Culture of Honor. I appreciate the desire and
